Zion Lutheran Church

The mission of the MOB
(Mission Outreach Board) is to equip the saints (congregation members) for the work of the service of the building of the body of Christ.   Ephesians 4:12

This mission is accomplished by doing the following:

• Encouraging the congregation in planning long term and short term mission goals.
  
• Establish a way for the congregation members of Zion in building relationships through outreach in the community.
  
• Keep record of activity of the Mission and Outreach Board
  
• Assist and encourage the pastor in equipping both members and nonmembers 

in the word of God and His saving Grace.

• Prepare the congregation in acquainting new members in the word and sacrament ministry and the life of the church.
  
• Present opportunities to the congregation to support mission in prayer and stewardship in the community and abroad in our Synod and other Christian organizations.
